Hong Kong youths may visit New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Germany, Japan, Canada, Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, and the Netherlands through the Working Holiday Scheme. Under the Scheme, participants may take up short-term employment(s) and/or enrol in short-term course(s) (except for Ireland) during their stay so as to acquire a better understanding of the cultural and social developments of these economies. The Scheme aims to enable Hong Kong youths to gain invaluable experience while holidaying and working abroad, which would help strengthen their self-confidence, resilience and interpersonal skills.
"Gov Job" introduces the nature and content of various jobs in the Government, as well as tips about the recruitment process.
"Career and Study" provides information on education and career pursuit, such as activities and topical stories.
"Startup" covers practical information including topical stories on entrepreneurship and relevant activities for young entrepreneurs.
The Education Bureau has launched the "Designated Webpage for Secondary 6 Students" to provide the latest information on multiple pathways at one-stop, which facilitates the early life planning of S6 graduates.
A dedicated "Life Planning Information Website" developed by the Education Bureau features the latest career information of over 300 types of work covering 21 industries, information on local and non-local further studies together with a variety of videos sharing which can facilitate students to prepare for their further studies and employment.
