Job Centres will open within 2 hours if the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 / the Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered at or before 4:15pm, if situation allows.

If the signal / warning is lowered at or before 3:45pm, job referral service for vacancies provided by Job Centres will be resumed two hours after the lowering of the signal / warning.

However, if "Extreme Conditions" exist after the lowering of the signal / warning, Job Centre swill remain closed until "Extreme Conditions" cease to exist.

Job Centres will open within 2 hours if "Extreme Conditions" cease to exist at or before 4:15pm, if situation allows.

If "Extreme Conditions" cease to exist at or before 3:45pm, job referral service for vacancies provided by Job Centres will be resumed two hours after the cancellation of "Extreme Conditions".

Note: Under certain "extreme conditions" caused by super typhoons, such as serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage, the Government will review the situation and decide whether it is necessary to issue an announcement on "Extreme Conditions".
