Purpose of Collection of Personal Data

The personal data as provided by you to this office, by means of this enrolment form or by Service Providers' or employers' reply after job referrals (including job position offered, commencement date, working hours and salary) will be used by the Employment Services Division of the Labour Department and Service Providers of RDEP for rendering employment/related support services for you or statistical purpose. The provision of personal data by you is voluntary. If you do not provide sufficient information, we may not be able to render services to you.

Classes of Transferees

The personal data and other related information provided by you may be disclosed to employers or other related bodies in order to arrange job referrals or other related services for you. Such data may be disclosed to other office(s) of the Labour Department, Service Providers of RDEP, other government bureaux/department(s), and other relevant non-governmental organisation(s) for providing you with employment/training/other related support services. It may also be transferred to other divisions of the Labour Department for enforcement of the ordinances administered by this Department.

Access to Personal Data

You have a right of access and correction in respect of your personal data as provided for in Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. If you would like to do so, please contact RDEP Office.
